It’s been ages since the last time I posted, but I’m back and this time we went to Sovereign Hill, Ballarat.
Sovereign Hill is 90′ drive from Melbourne and they got lots of free parking space. We went there pretty late so we didn’t get to do much. We still managed to join the gold mine tour though. First thing first, I’m telling you that I’m not interested in any historical events whatsoever but this one is an exception. Well, I mostly went there because of the Winter Wonderlights that they have as soon as the sun sets 😉
The weather drops to 6°C by night. Although I was reassured by the small bonfires that they provide to warm ourselves up, the bone-chilling wind still annoys me (or maybe, yes, I admit, I was not wearing enough layers). So… we warmed ourselves up with some foods!
Oh if you decided to come here, come earlier so that you can join the fun to find your own gold dust and bring it home with you!
Anyway, it was such a fun way to spend my Sunday. I would love to come back here for this again!
Here’s a clip that concludes our trip:
