URBAN vs RURAL

***

The past few weeks has totally knocked me down. Recently, I just started my freshman year as an Interior Design student in RMIT. Things are new to me yet the assignments won’t even give me a chance to breathe. Everything is so packed, but I have to get through this. So. I decided to get away from all of that during the Easter break last week. I took an advantage of being free, though it was only for a week, to take a road-trip to the suburb of Melbourne: Dandenong.

The destination was set spontaneously as we hop on the car and escape the busy city life. With my black Dr Martens on, we’re finally off to Dandenong…

It took approximately 2 hours to get there. As soon as we reached our destination, Sky High Observatory, we strolled around the area while we embraced the bone-chilling weather . The view was amazing, not astounded though, but still, amazing.

Took a picture with the famous Giant’s Chair.

The suburb area was quiet and it has this healing vibe. Surely it is a must destination for an urbanist like me but I wouldn’t exchange my city life to live on the countryside. It is fun and okay to set in only during a period of time. Still, I enjoyed the trip especially because I went there with my special one ❤
