Betting vs Auction

It’s been too long since the last brunch I had! This was on Melbourne Cup 2015 but instead of betting on them horses, we filled up our bellies.

This time we were heading to North Melbourne by tram and decided to have our super late brunch at a buzzing café in that area.

The sunny courtyard made the perfect vibe as we enjoyed the foods. Here are what we ordered:

Chilaquiles (chee/lah/KEE/lehs)
Breakfast board of grilled chorizo, ocean trout croquette, feta, avocado puree, a soft-boiled egg with rye soldiers and a mixed grain porridge
Seared ocean trout with potato & kale rösti, poached egg, salsa verde, horseradish cream and a ruby grapefruit & watercress salad

Chilaquiles is yet my favourite from them all! That beautiful sunny side up egg doe…

Tasted these lovelies at:

103-107 Errol St, North Melbourne VIC 3051. (03) 9326 7749

If you think our day ends without dessert, you’re dead wrong 😉

There’s always room for dessert, ain’t it just perfectly right? Another gorgeous café only this time it is located on Lygon Street in the cross over between Carlton North and Princess Hill, the Naughty Boy Café.

499-501 Lygon Street
Princes Hill 3054. (03) 9041 7870

Choc and Pavlova Shakes.

Shake it, shake it for me!
